Sweden’s Hazardous Chemical’s Centre

Sweden SDS

Sweden’s government is proposing setting up a centre that would promote the substitution of hazardous chemicals that are found in various products.

This proposal is apart of Sweden’s drive for non-toxic environment; this centre will be established as an independent organisation through a joint initiative between the government and industry.

The aim of the hazardous chemicals centre is to help businesses reduce the use of hazardous chemicals in products, and help them to find a better alternative for the substance.

Sweden’s Chemicals Agency, also known as Kemi, has stated that this centre will help improve the efficiency of REACH.
