Aug. 14 Canada: Consumer Product Recall: Crabtree & Evelyn brand reed diffusers
This consumer product recall notice is brought to you by Health Canada.
This recall involves Crabtree & Evelyn brand reed diffusers in various fragrances. There are a total of 7 products covered by the recall.
The recalled products pose a very high level of toxicity though inhalation and are consequently prohibited by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001. Exposure through inhalation of the affected products may cause serious injury.
Neither Health Canada nor Crabtree & Evelyn, Ltd. has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of the recalled diffusers.
Approximately 4000 units of the recalled reed diffusers were sold.
The recalled reed diffusers were sold from January 2012 to December 2012.
