The national regulations that govern Safety Data Sheets/SDS authoring in Chile are NCh 2245:2015 – Hoja de datos de seguridad para productos químicos.

Additional Regulations

Transportation is regulated by: NCh 2190.Of 2003.

GHS Implementation Status

Chile has yet to fully implement GHS. As of 2018, the Chilean Ministerio de Salud (Ministry of Health) has issued its draft regulation (REGLAMENTO DE CLASIFICACION, ETIQUETADO Y NOTIFICACIÓN DE SUSTANCIAS QUÍMICAS Y MEZCLAS) and is awaiting approval.
